Description
The Lincoln Memorial mirrored in the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool on the National Mall
Washington DC
The Lincoln Memorial is a US national memorial built to honor the 16th president of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. It is on the western end of the National Mall in Washington, D.C., across from the Washington Monument, and is in the form of a neoclassical temple. The memorial's architect was Henry Bacon.
Little Rock's RB4K Dirty Fondo is a cyclist fundraiser for Recycle Bikes for Kids (RB4K). Recycle Bikes For Kids gives free bikes to kids, provides adults the opportunity to earn a bike, and supports bike infrastructure and education in our community. Since 2008, RB4K has given out over 19,000 free bikes to kids. Projects funded through the Dirty Fondo include installing bicycle repair stands and air pumps along the Arkansas River Trail (ART), providing helmets for kids when they receive a free bike, donations to both Little Rock and North Little Rock for the purchase of mechanical trail sweepers, and donations toward the purchase of three water fountains for the ART. These types of bike infrastructure improvements will continue with funds from the Dirty Fondo Bike ride. 100% of all the proceeds from this image will go directly to RB4K.
